Resumed Exercise

Managed to squeeze in some time to go for a 4 km jog after one week of inactivity.

Managing Alyssa's Expectations

Alyssa had been instructed by Dr to refrain fr strenuous exercises for one mth. That would mean no PE, no dancing, no swimming. She's afraid of not being able to catch up for the upcoming performances (Happy Prince in school and Hip Hop for crestar). I had to explain to her to be prepared for changes and to accept minor role/not so important position if the teachers deemed she does not have sufficient practice.

Camping at KKH

Camped over at KKH for 4D5N taking care of Alyssa. Had been popping Panadols to contain my runny nose, coupled with little space to move around, my body was going to waste!Need to resume my exercise sessions.

My Little Princess had Acute Appendicitis

My little girl was down with acute appendicitis last Saturday (actually confirmed only on Sunday mn), had a surgery (keyhole), stayed in KKH children tower for 5 days. Now she's recuperating at home. Dr said her appendix had perferated and would be more complicated in that she had to wash away the puss and chances of infection is higher. Nevertheless she recovered quite well.

Jogging in the rain

Went for a routine jog at about 8 plus. It was drizzling at first. Great! The drizzle turned into a heavy downpour at about 2 km mark. I was determined to complete the route no matter what. So I jogged at my usual pace under the rain and I was drenched. But what fun I had! When I reached home, boy said "cool!" ; )

Patrol Leader

Boy became a Scout Patrol Leader yesterday. Congrats to Boy!

Saturday...

No cathechism class, so we spent some time at Central coffee corner at TM after piano class.
